Wide Receivers
Buy
Matthew Golden, Packers: He’s not getting as much hype as the other first-round rookie wideouts, but Golden is positioned to be Green Bay’s top receiver in Week 1. With Jayden Reed dealing with a foot injury that could affect him all season, there won’t be much target competition standing in Golden’s way. It’s also worth noting that the manager who selected him likely has him as a flex or bench option based on where he was being drafted. So, see if you can sneak in and get the speedy Golden at a discount before he has a breakout game early in the season.

Sell
Tyreek Hill, Dolphins: Despite a flurry of red flags around him this offseason, Hill was still drafted as a top-15 player at his position on average. However, the 31-year-old showed signs of decline in 2024 and his average yards per reception dropped significantly from 15.1 the season prior to 11.8 last year. When you couple that with Hill’s constant off-field antics and strange comments to the media, often criticizing teammates or coaches, you start to wonder how much longer he has in a Dolphins’ uniform.
It’s also concerning that the age curve study done by Fantasy Points’ Ryan Health identified Year 10 as the season when receivers have their first significant statistical dip — falling to 77.2% of their career baseline production. Given the volatility of Hill, Tua’s durability concerns, the state of the offensive line, the worries about the defense — the potential for Miami to self-destruct is real. Moving Hill before that time bomb goes off seems wise.
