According to a recent report from AS, it has been learned that Real Madrid are not rushing into any decisions about strengthening the squad during the January transfer market just yet.

Instead, the plan is to assess the situation after their crucial visit to Anfield on November 27, before making any moves in the winter transfer market.

Although the club has previously been firm about not making any January signings, the recent struggles of the team have opened the door to reconsideration.

After disappointing performances in the El Clasico and a heavy loss to Milan, Madrid find themselves in a crisis. Despite this, the club is determined to stay calm and not overreact.

Real Madrid are being supportive

At the moment, the leadership at Real Madrid are confident that manager Carlo Ancelotti and the players can overcome their current slump with the existing squad.

One key factor that has had a bigger impact than expected is the absence of Dani Carvajal. His injury has been felt more deeply than anticipated, which has forced the club to make temporary adjustments.

In response, Madrid have registered promising young player Jesus Fortea for the Champions League, taking the spot left vacant by Carvajal.

Things in consideration

There are three main options being considered if the club decides to enter the transfer market, but for now, all decisions are on hold. The club is also hoping that other factors, such as their upcoming schedule, will help the situation improve.

Real Madrid have a chance to rebuild morale this Saturday when they face Osasuna. Following that, there will be an international break, which will give many of their players the opportunity to regain form with their national teams.

After the break, the team will play Leganes, a more manageable opponent, which could help in the recovery process before the vital match at Anfield.

The club’s leadership sees this stretch of games, especially the visit to Liverpool, as a crucial moment to determine whether the team’s struggles are over or if further reinforcements will be needed in the January window.
