The first international break of 2026 is underway, and a large number of Real Madrid stars away representing their national team with preparations for the FIFA World Cup in the summer taking centre stage.

Once the break is over, Los Blancos return to action in La Liga on 4 April with an away trip to face RCD Mallorca.

And, building up to that clash, manager Alvaro Arbeloa is set to be boosted by some players returning from injury.

Militao, Ceballos set to be available

Indeed, according to journalist Alvaro Esteban, Real Madrid will recover Eder Militao and Dani Ceballos in time for the game against Mallorca on the other side of the international break.

Militao has been out of action since December due to a muscle tear. The 28-year-old defender’s absence has been felt by Los Blancos during this period, considering that the other centre-backs have also gone through physical problems.

Militao has been doing work on the field for a while and resumed training with the group just before the international break. And, if there are no unforeseen issues, the Brazilian international will be ready to face Mallorca on 4 April.

As for Ceballos, he has been out of action since late February due to a calf injury, leading to him missing the Merengues’ last seven matches across all competitions.

But the 29-year-old midfielder has resumed training with the group this week and everything suggests that he could be available for selection for Arbeloa when Real Madrid face Mallorca.

No Ferland Mendy

However, as per the report, left-back Ferland Mendy is unlikely to be ready in time for the trip to La Palma next week.

The French left-back suffered a muscle injury in the game against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu and has gone onto miss three matches since.

As things stand, though, Mendy will not make it in time for the Mallorca clash and is targeting the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals against Bayern Munich for his comeback.
