From golfing alongside the Rocky Mountains to sand dunes on the Eastern Plains and the valleys of the Western Slope, Colorado has some of the most scenic private golf courses in the country.

We already shared Colorado’s top-ranked public courses in 2025. If you’re looking for a more exclusive golf outing — or just want to see what you’re missing — Golfweek, part of the USA TODAY Network, has also released its yearly rankings for the top private courses in each state.

The list has some familiar names, though there is a newcomer at No. 4 in the 2025 top 10.

Note: All of these courses are member-only and don’t accept daily-fee or resort play.
