The Las Vegas Raiders clearly aren’t afraid of spending many as they doled out more than $280 million in contracts on the first day of the tampering period of free agency.
Yet, the Raiders don’t have many high, high dollar player s their roster. In fact, according to this recent X post by NFL analyst, Warren Sharp, Las Vegas is one of 16 teams (half of the league) that doesn’t feature a player making, at least, $40 million a season.
The Raiders’ highest-salaried player for the 2026 seas is star defensive end Maxx Crosby an $30 million and we all know that almost didn’t happen.

The Raiders not have a player at the $40 million number for a while, especially with expected new quarterback Fernando Mendoza coming in on a fixed rookei contract.
This is the time to take advantage and continue to build a contending roster.
