Raiders fans still seek some upgrades this free agency

The Las Vegas Raiders have done a lot in free agency to fill holes for the 2026 season, but there is more work to do.

So, for our Tuesday Community Question, this week, we asked our readers what move they want to see next?

Add one outstanding DL guy to the NT or DT positions, one that can rush, to accentuate Maxx (if he is still around), and the other guys we already have at those positions.

Didn’t want AJ Brown who is a noisemaker, but sounds like he’d be a real contributor. He mainly complains about not getting enough work, which isn’t bad in itself. He is per reviews hard to guard, kinda like a mini megatron. Strength and speed. Wouldn’t have to draft a WR. Don’t know what we’d have to give up for him, but I hear he is available for trade.

For some context the Raiders with all the signings and keeping Cosby have 27 million in cap space according to OTC. They need about 12 million for draft so they are down to 15 million at this point. However, they may get some cap back from Wilkins arbitration.

Most of the better FAs available at OT, WR, S are over 30 there are some younger decent guards left. Johnah Williams is still young and could be brought in for competition at RT? But is he even as good as Glaze or Grant? Although Raiders could use more depth at tackle with Miller’s injury history. Same at guard with JPJs cobcusions. There may also be some under the radar system fits that Raiders are waiting on price or clarity. No one really stands out or moves the needle, for instance is Billings at nose really going to be much better than Peguses? Is some 35 year old going to be a better FS than IPM? Seems like it’s going to be fairly quiet unless a team wants to trade player at a position of need like FS or tackle and picks for Crosby or something like that.

Find a Great RT either through Draft or FA. This position is tantamount to KUBI’s offense.

Draft a 2 gap Bad Ass Nose.

Draft a replacement for Miller than can develop.

Draft a Kicker.

Do not draft a kicker. There are tons of FA options out there if Gay does not work out.
