Despite having talks all summer, Juventus and PSG couldn’t come to an agreement on a transfer. As a result, it led to the transfer deadline move to Spurs for Kolo Muani.

Asked by the media outlet Tuttojuve, Massimo Pavan defended Juventus in the matter regarding Kolo Muani.

“I don’t understand what PSG wanted,” explained the SportMediaSet journalist (h/t Foot01). “Juventus made an offer. If they wanted to give him five million without conditions, they could have done it. I think that if they had made him an offer at the start of the transfer window, Juventus would have immediately accepted.”

The club ultimately focused on bringing in the French international forward after the Serie A team reportedly set a staggering £87 million price tag on Rafael Leao.
