  • Porsche is teaming up with Pixar again with three custom 911s inspired by Toy Story 5.
  • The one-off cars, built through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program, will debut at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on June 19, 2026.
  • All three vehicles will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to multiple charities.

Remember Sally? Not the actual Cars character, but the real-life 911 that shared her name. Back in 2022, Porsche created a one-off inspired by Sally Carrera, finished in Sally Blue Metallic with custom wheels and even her signature “tattoo” on the back bumper.

Now, Porsche is stepping back into the Pixar universe. To celebrate the upcoming film Toy Story 5, the automaker will debut three bespoke cars created through its Sonderwunsch program, each inspired by a fan-favorite character: Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Woody.

For now, though, the cars themselves remain under wraps. The trio will make their official debut at the Toy Story 5 red carpet premiere in Los Angeles on June 19, 2026. Until then, we only have a single teaser image (below) to work with—but it still offers a few clues.

The image shows three covered Porsches. Two of them appear to be standard 911s from the rear, but the third is different. It hints at a more aggressive design, with a distinctive front end and a daunting rear wing.

Our best guess? Something along the lines of a 911 GT3 Manthey, maybe with styling cues inspired by everyone’s favorite Space Ranger—at least, that’s what we’re hoping. We won’t know for sure until the covers come off later this year.

“Collaborating with the Sonderwunsch team has been about interpreting these characters through materials, color, and form—staying true to who they are without being literal,” said Toy Story production designer Bob Pauley. “It’s a design exercise rooted in storytelling.”

Following their red carpet debut, all three cars will head to auction, with proceeds benefiting nonprofit organizations that support children and communities in need.

Motor1’s Take: The first Porsche–Pixar collaboration set a high bar, and this latest project looks just as promising. It’ll be interesting to see how Porsche translates these iconic characters into its signature sports car design.
