Kawhi Leonard reportedly raked in $28 million in a “no-show” endorsement deal and now the NBA is investigating. Seems as though the deal was with a now-bankrupt sustainability company.

On Wednesday, after storms knocked over trees and created some low-level mayhem at Pinehurst, a clever individual running the famed golf course’s X account poked some fun at the NBA star.

“Kawhi, a little help?” was the simple but effective blast.

Pinehurst had announced on social media on Aug. 15 that as a result of a thunderstorm, “the iconic tree on the 13th hole of Pinehurst No. 2 fell down.” A few photos of that were posted then and new, a couple weeks later, some fun was poked.
