Tottenham Hotspur have approached B04 with a new proposal, which begins with a one-year loan deal and an obligation to buy clause worth €60m. The obligation to buy fee is also the same value as Hincapié’s release clause.
As per the report, the defender wishes to leave Leverkusen this season and has started discussing personal terms with Spurs.
Kicker confirms that Leverkusen are keeping the current Manchester City professional in mind should Hincapie be sold. Akanji has, nevertheless, been more strongly linked with clubs such as Galatasaray.
If the deal does go through, Erik ten Hag’s side will have to react quickly if they’re to find a suitable replacement before the transfer window closes.
