The East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, will once again host the Tour Championship, where the Top 30 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings will vie for the season’s grand prize beginning Thursday.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler comes into this year’s tournament as the reigning champion after he defeated Collin Morikawa to claim the title in 2024. Trying to dethrone the champion are World No. 2 Rory McIlroy, J.J. Spaun, and 2017 FedEx Cup winner Justin Thomas.
The tournament winner will earn $10 million, which is one of the biggest purses in the sport.
