The Winnipeg Jets scored four unanswered goals in the third period to beat the Boston Bruins and earn their fifth consecutive win.

Connor Hellebuyck recorded his league-leading 32nd win of the season, stopping 27 of the 29 shots he faced. Jeremy Swayman had the night off for the Bruins meaning Joonas Korpisalo got the start. He allowed five goals and 26 shots, ending his two-game win streak.

Vladislav Namestnikov recorded his 10th goal of the season on the power play to open the scoring for the Jets just 2:55 into the game.

Mark Scheifele reached the 30 goal for the fourth time in his career to extend the Jets lead. With less than five minutes remaining in the opening frame, Brad Marchand got the Bruins on the board with their own power play goal.

The second period ended scoreless with the Bruins outshooting the Jets 11-10.

Elias Lindholm tied the game just 11 seconds into the third period but Scheifele answered back scoring 24 seconds later.

Nikolaj Ehlers took advantage of a lackadaisical Bruins defenseman and poked the puck off Mason Lohrei’s stick and into the net.

Parker Ford scored his first NHL goal to add extra insurance before Kyle Connor scored his 30th of the season into the Bruins’ empty net.
