Roma have officially announced their first summer signing.
“AS Roma are delighted to announce the signing of Neil El Aynaoui from Lens,” reads the club’s official statement.
“Born in France on 2 July 2001 to Moroccan parents, El Aynaoui is a product of Nancy’s youth academy and made his first team debut for the club in 2021. In 2023 he made a move to Lens, where he has played for the last two seasons.
The midfielder has racked up 130 appearances across league and cup competitions, scoring 17 goals.
He will wear the number 8 for Roma.
