Sevilla have officially announced the signing of Lucas Stassin (21) on loan from Saint-Étienne. The Belgian forward arrives on an initial loan, but the La Liga club will hold an option to purchase the forward at the end of the deal. The Belgian striker joins the Spanish side for the 2026/27 campaign, with Sevilla adding further attacking depth to their squad. Los Rojiblancos will pay a €2.5m loan fee for the forward and hold an €22.5m buy option.
The 21-year-old joined Saint-Étienne from Belgian side Westerlo in 2024 and quickly established himself as an important attacking player for the French club. The forward began his professional career with Anderlecht before moving to Westerlo, where his performances earned him a move to Ligue 1. A Belgium international, Stassin has represented his country at senior level after progressing through the national team’s youth ranks.

The striker now moves to La Liga for the first time in his career, with Sevilla hoping he can provide goals and competition in their attack. Stassin will be looking to use his season in Spain to gain further experience in the top flight after becoming frustrated whilst representing Les Verts in Ligue 2.
