Having spent the last season on loan at Leicester City, Jordan James (22) has once again returned to the EFL Championship, this time signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
James joined Stade Rennais from Birmingham City for a reported €5m fee back in the summer of 2024. However, the Wales international has struggled for game time at Roazhon Park. He has made just 25 appearances for the Breton club. Last season, he spent the season out on loan at Leicester City. The season ended in a failure and a relegation to League One.

Once again, James has been loaned out to a club relegated from the Premier League, Wolves. The Welsh midfielder has joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Rennes. His move to Molineux also includes the option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign, as confirmed by the English club in Wednesday’s press release.
