Despite the Philadelphia Eagles’ 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday to improve to 3-2, things have looked shaky as fans continue to criticize head coach Nick Sirianni.

However, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported on Tuesday’s episode of Scoop City that the ongoing chatter hasn’t affected the Eagles, saying, “In the building, it’s calmer than it feels outside of it.”

Sirianni stirred up some uncertainty surrounding his future in Philadelphia when he was seen having a contentious back-and-forth with home fans at Lincoln Financial Field in the final seconds of Sunday’s game.

Sirianni told reporters after the game that he was “just excited” during the exchange. However, it should be noted that Eagles fans were heard chanting “Fire Nick!” as the game went to halftime.

Still, Russini maintained that the testy moment for Sirianni was not indicative of the morale in Philadelphia, as the team is moving forward in hopes of earning a second straight win when it meets the New York Giants on Sunday.

“I can just tell you from having some conversations with people in that building over the last 24 hours just to try to get a feel if it’s as intense and emotional as it seems to us, it doesn’t,” Russini said. “I think that’s good.”
