The Seattle Seahawks went all-in on the secondary in Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft. For those worried about whether or not they’d gain extra draft capital, I have great news!

Seattle began its Friday by staying at No. 64 to select TCU’s Bud Clark, a ball-hawking safety who registered 15 interceptions with the Horned Frogs. The follow-up in the third round was to trade down at long last, moving from 96 to 99 in a swap with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who took popular Iowa offensive lineman Gennings Dunker. Seattle remained at 99 to take tall, physical Arkansas cornerback Julian Neal. Seattle gained pick No. 216 for Saturday, the last selection of the sixth round.

For whatever reason, we had a lot of tight ends go off the board (eight, to be exact), which did not seem likely given consensus opinion on this year’s class. The San Francisco 49ers surprised by taking Ole Miss receiver De’Zhaun Stribling at the top of Round 2, then they snagged Indiana’s Kaelon Black in Round 3 for their umpteenth mid-round running back pick under Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch. Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals turned to Miami’s Carson Beck as their quarterback pick to start Round 3, whereas the Los Angeles Rams focused in on Ohio State tight end Max Klare in the second and Missouri offensive lineman Keegan Trost in the third.

It’s abundantly clear the Seahawks aren’t feeling this edge rusher class, with all of the top names off the board by the end of Friday. The rest of the NFL also doesn’t seem particularly high on either Mike Washington or Jonah Coleman, both of whom will be available in Round 4.

Here are the full results of Day 2 of the draft. Day 3 resumes at 9 am PT on Saturday, Apr. 25 on ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network.
