The Yahoo Sports app is giving fans a chance to react to each NFL draft pick with three different emojis (we’ll tell you which ones below). And why not back up that reaction with a comment, or see what other fans have to say about your team’s pick? There’s also a new Live Activities feature for iPhone users to follow the draft right from your lock screen.
If you’re following the 2025 NFL Draft, you can use Yahoo Sports as your ultimate player research tool. It features an interactive NFL Draft guide, which shows player scouting reports and comps, draft news, as well as the latest Yahoo Sports mock draft and big board. You can use the big board to filter by NFL teams, schools, player positions and attributes. Some elements from the draft guide are also available in the Yahoo Sports app via enhanced prospect pages.

Connect with other NFL fans
The Yahoo Sports app will let you connect with other fans around the NFL Draft in real time. Using the Discussions feature, you can chat with each other and Yahoo Sports experts about each player and pick in the draft — or just lurk and read everyone else’s hot takes about who your favorite team picked!
To access Discussions for each player, just visit their prospect pages from the NFL Draft hub. You can also talk about the broader NFL draft in a megathread (at the top of the NFL Draft hub).
Use emojis to react to NFL draft picks
You can now react to each pick in the draft with emojis. You can share 🔥 if you agree with the pick, 🤔 if you’re unsure how you feel about the pick, or 😬 if you don’t like the pick.

Emoji reactions are available on both iOS and Android versions of the Yahoo Sports app.
Live activities feature
The Yahoo Sports app on iOS has a new Live Activities feature, which lets you stay up-to-date on each pick in the draft — even if your phone is locked. Just visit the NFL Draft hub, or add NFL as a favorite league, to get every pick pushed to your lock screen as they happen.

Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, Apr. 24, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET. Rounds 2-7 will follow on Friday, Apr. 25 and Saturday, Apr. 26.

Round 1 of the NFL Draft will begin at 8 p.m. ET. Rounds 2-3 will air Friday starting at 7 p.m. ET. Saturday’s coverage of rounds 4-7 will start at 12 p.m. ET.
