World No. 1 Nelly Korda headlines the field at the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open, set for July 23-26 at Dundonald Links. Seven of the top 10 players in the world have committed, including defending champion Lottie Woad, currently No. 5. England’s Woad notably won the Scottish last July in her professional debut.

Rounding out the top 10 are Hyo Joo Kim (No. 3), Charley Hull (No. 5), Miyu Yamashita (No. 8), Hannah Green (No. 9) and Sei Young Kim (No. 10).

The LPGA schedule is certainly major heavy over the next five weeks. After a week off following the KPMG Women’s PGA, the tour heads to the Amundi Evian Championship in France, followed by another off week. The Scottish Open then leads into the AIG Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham and St. Annes.

Lottie Woad hoists the trophy after winning the 2025 ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open.

For some players on the LPGA, like Brooke Henderson, their schedule will include nothing but majors over the course of the next month. Henderson, of course, recently took a share of third at the KPMG Women’s PGA at Hazeltine. She will not play in the Scottish.

“So happy to get a top 3 in a major,” said Henderson, whose previous top-3 finish in a major came at the 2024 Chevron. “Makes the whole season feel a little bit better, and also feel like gives me a lot of confidence, momentum going into the rest of the year, which my next two events are also majors. Hopefully I can carry that forward.”

Japan’s Yamashita took a share of 10th last year at Dundonald before winning the AIG Women’s British Open at Royal Porthcawl.

“It proved to be the perfect preparation ahead of the AIG Women’s Open,” Yamashita said in a release, “so I’m excited to use it in the same way again before I defend my title next month.”

Last year Dundonald Links enjoyed a record-breaking event, with more than 11,000 spectators across the week.

Korda, a four-time winner this season, finished solo fifth last year at the Scottish. She heads to France on Saturday evening for the Evian and will spend time visiting family in Prague during the off week before heading over to Scotland.
