Welcome to TGL history, Neal Shipley.
The Bay Golf Club’s Neal Shipley carded the first hole-in-one in TGL history on Monday, Feb. 9 in a match with Los Angeles Golf Club.
Shipley hit a wedge just long on his tee shot for No. 5, a 110-yard par 3. With help from his backspin and the slope, the ball rolled down the hill and into the hole for an ace.
The shot came with The Bay already leading 3-0 and extended the team’s advantage.
