The 2026 NASCAR schedules were released on Aug. 20 with several changes, most notably the move of the All-Star Race to Dover, a points race to North Wilkesboro and the re-addition of Chicagoland Speedway.

Dover, once a track that held two Cup race weekends as recently as 2020, will now only host the All-Star Race weekend along with O’Reilly Auto Parts/Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series points races on May 15-17.

North Wilkesboro will hold a Cup Series points race on July 19 for the first time since 1996 after three seasons of hosting the All-Star Race weekend.

Chicagoland Speedway returns to the schedule, replacing the Chicago street course on July 4th weekend.

Homestead-Miami Speedway will host the championship race on Nov. 8 in a one-off return to the end of the schedule as the sanctioning body will start rotating the final race of the season.

Nashville Superspeedway’s race date is unchanged in positioning on the schedule, with the tripleheader weekend on May 29-31 coming the week after the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte.

Among the highlights of the other national series: the Craftsman Truck Series will race on the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg street course on the same weekend as the IndyCar Series on Feb. 28.
