The playoff picture in the NASCAR Xfinity Series is anything but clear.

AJ Allmendinger won Saturday’s Ambetter Health 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway after holding of Ryan Sieg following a late-race restart.

Allmendinger’s win automatically qualifies the driver of the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet for the Championship 4 next month in Phoenix. There are still three spots to fill and two races left to do so.

Justin Allgaier had a solid points day while Sammy Smith had power issues and needs a win to advance.
