NASCAR made a big announcement on Tuesday for its upcoming Cup Series race in Iowa.

The NASCAR Cup Series is coming off a big weekend in Mexico City. The NASCAR Cup Series went down to Mexico for the first time in its history, for an eventful weekend of racing. Daniel Suarez took home the checkered flag in the Xfinity Series while Shane van Gisbergen won the Cup Series race on Sunday.

NASCAR is set to travel to Iowa for a Cup Series race in August. The Iowa Corn 350 is scheduled to take place at the Iowa Speedway in early August.

On Tuesday, NASCAR made a big announcement for the race.

NASCAR announced on Tuesday that it has made a big ticket move for the race in Iowa next month.

The NASCAR Cup Series race has sold out of all of its tickets in the grandstand at the Iowa Speedway.

“NASCAR announced it has sold all the grandstand seats for the Cup race in Iowa in August,” NASCAR insider Bob Pockrass shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Iowa Speedway officially announced that Sunday reserve tickets are sold out.

“Start your engines early with the ARCA Menards Series ATLAS ROOFING 150 on Friday, kicking off an adrenaline-filled weekend of racing!” the Iowa Speedway announced.

“Then on Saturday, catch the NASCAR CUP SERIES drivers as they hit the track for practice and qualifying—don’t miss your chance to see your favorite stars up close before race day! 

“The excitement keeps building as the rising stars of the NASCAR Xfinity Series go head-to-head in an epic showdown for victory and glory in the HY-VEE PERKS 250.”

It should be a fun weekend of racing in Iowa next month. Hopefully, the excitement delivers in a major way.
