NASCAR fans wanted to see a commercial-free race for much of the day, but obviously, that’s not really possible.

“The Daytona 500 is the most unwatchable race in motorsports,” one fan wrote.

Another added: “The number of commercials in this race is crazy. I’m fed up with it.”

“Its called the Daytona 500 for the amount of commercials,” another wrote.

One pointed out: “Nine laps, two commercials.”

Commercials airing during races is a common source of frustration for fans. However, the networks need to make money and commercials are the way they are going to do that.
