The starting lineup is set for NASCAR’s historic debut at Naval Base Coronado, and it will be Shane van Gisbergen leading the field to green after claiming the pole for Sunday’s Anduril 250.

Van Gisbergen continued his dominance on road and street-style circuits, posting the fastest lap in qualifying at NASCAR’s newest venue. He’ll share the front row with hometown favorite Carson Hocevar, who came up just short of the pole.

Kevin Magnussen will make his Cup Series debut from the 21st starting position, while seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson qualified 36th.
