Martin Truex Jr. is on pole for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.
In his final full-time race in the NASCAR Cup Series, Truex earned his second pole in a row and second pole of the season after winning last week’s pole award at Martinsville.
Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Joey Logano and Tyler Reddick will race for a championship on Sunday.
Logano failed inspection twice and lost his car chief and a pit crew member. Logano also loses his selection for a pit stall, NASCAR will select one for him. Blaney got loose in turn 3 and missed the second round of qualifying.
