The Quaker State 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on June 28 at EchoPark Speedway resumed following a 20-minute red flag delay for rain.
The race was halted after 43 laps, with Joey Logano as the leader.
A light rain persisted after the yellow flag was waved for the initial precipitation, and NASCAR opted for the red flag to dry the track.
Saturday’s race is scheduled for 260 laps, with the race official after 130 laps.
