A big wreck at Atlanta has crumbled almost two dozen race cars at the NASCAR Quaker State 400 at EchoPark Speedway on June 28.
The crash came early in Stage 2 after an earlier wreck took at Ryan Blaney at the end of Stage 1.
But this wreck damaged a good portion of the field, including Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and many others.
The wreck came during the first race of the inaugural in-season tournament and it’s with just nine races left in the regular season. The in-season tournament is a battle within the race with matchups determined by the final race results.
Logano’s car damage ended his night. William Byron and Ross Chastain also were forced to have their day end early. Other teams may also be able to repair their cars.
