Undisputed super bantamweight gold is on the line on May 4 when Naoya Inoue defends his titles against Ramon Cardenas. The fight in Las Vegas airs on The fight in Las Vegas airs on ESPN+ and Fubo in the U.S.
A multi-weight champion, Inoue (29-0) is in a rare class of being undisputed in two divisions. “The Monster” competes in America for the first time since 2021. The Japanese star has won ten straight fights via knockout to go with 26 wins via the power punch.
Ready to compete in money fights in 2025, Inoue looks to put on a show in front of a passionate fanbase in Las Vegas that has waited years for him to return.
“I’m very motivated to fight in front of an American crowd in a big arena like this, but because it’s during Cinco De Mayo Weekend, it feels like I’m playing an away game, so I don’t know what to expect,” Inoue said.

“The ideal situation is to show the American fans my boxing and win with a knockout, but more than anything, I want people to see something they haven’t been able to see yet in the U.S.”
Cardenas (26-1) has won 14 fights via knockout. On a 14-fight win streak, he competes in his first world title fight. On the biggest stage, Cardenas is ready to pull off the upset.
“I remember watching 24/7 with Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather. I remember watching them and wanting to be here. And now I’m here,” Cardenas said. “Also, fighting for a world title is one thing, but fighting for the undisputed title is more than I could ever ask for. It makes me hungrier. It makes me want it more.”
The co-main event will see Rafael Espinoza (26-0) put the WBO featherweight title on the line against Edward Vazquez (17-2).
