Buffalo Sabres prospects practiced for the first time at LECOM Harborcenter on Friday in advance of the two-game Prospect Showcase against the Boston Bruins youngsters on Sunday night and Monday morning. The highest-regarded of the Sabres prospects playing this weekend is 2025 first-rounder Radim Mrtka.
The 19-year-old played the beginning of the AHL season with Rochester, but was sent back to the WHL’s Seattle Thunderbirds in October.
