The trash talk is well underway between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul with one month to go before their showdown at AT&T Stadium.

Tyson actually kept his trash talk to a minimum in a recent post on X showing him training and writing he’s “going to f–k” Paul up when they step into the ring.

This is the second round of trash talk between the two fighters after they had to postpone the bout from its originally-scheduled date of July 20 due to a health issue for Tyson.

Their initial trash talk was picking up steam at a press conference in Texas on May 16.

“I respect Mike and he’s a legend,” Paul said. “But it’s time. It’s my time now. There’s a reason I have the same birthday as Cus D’Amato because I’m going to teach you how to box, Mike.”

Tyson used his time on the mic to criticize Paul for not being able to knockout Nate Diaz:

“He can’t even knock out [Nate] Diaz. [Nate] Diaz is 40 pounds. How are you going to knock me out? Who’s the other guy? Anderson Silva. He didn’t knock out those little guys. How’s he going to knock me out? … Who did he knock out? Who did he knock out? Little children. He never knocked out a real man. Come on.”

Paul does have 10 career wins as a professional boxer, with seven coming via knockout or TKO. Of those seven knockout/TKO wins, only two have come against classically-trained boxers (Andre August and Ryan Bourland). Four were against athletes from different sports, including the NBA (Nate Robinson), mixed martial arts (Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren) and bare-knuckle boxing (Mike Perry). The other was against YouTube star AnEsonGib.

Tyson’s overall resume is much more impressive than Paul’s, but he is 58 and hasn’t won any fight—professional or exhibition—since knocking out Clifford Etienne in February 2003. Paul turned six years old on Jan. 17, 2003.

Something has got to give when Tyson and Paul square off in the ring. The event will happen on Nov. 15 from the home of the Dallas Cowboys and stream live around the world on Netflix.
