Micah Parsons, Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers are going to be a serious problem for the rest of the NFL in 2025.
The Parsons-led defense starred in the first three quarters of the Packers’ 27-18 victory over the Washington Commanders. The performance helped the Packers become the new betting favorite to win the NFC while having the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl behind only the Buffalo Bills, via Draftkings.
Though the final score was close, it Green Bay was in full control of this one.
Parsons totaled three quarterback hits, a half-sack and two tackles. He made an even bigger impact on the game that the stat line won’t tell you.
Love and the Packers offense looked strong as well. Love had 292 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. He helped Green Bay get out to a 14-3 halftime lead. The Packers played ahead by more than one possession for the rest of the game.
Thursday’s win got plenty of fans talking about Green Bay’s Super Bowl credentials.
The Packers will try to build on their impressive start in Cleveland in Week 3 before Parsons makes his return to Dallas in Week 4.
