Meet the Mets
The Mets took the rubber game of their series with the Padres yesterday afternoon at Citi Field, giving them their eleventh win in their past fifteen games. Carson Benge got the Mets on the board with a two-run home run in the fourth, and a couple of insurance runs in the eighth proved to be the difference in the 4-2 win.
