Napoli are on tenterhooks waiting to see if goalkeeper Alex Meret will be fit to start this evening’s Serie A showdown with Bologna.
It kicks off at the Stadio Dall’Ara at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
This could have a huge knock-on effect for the Scudetto race and the battle for Champions League qualification, as fourth host second in the Serie A table.
Meret worry for Napoli at the Stadio Dall’Ara

According to Sportitalia, there are some big concerns over the availability of goalkeeper Meret this evening, as he is suffering from flu symptoms.
He did not participate in the final training session ahead of the game and it remains to be seen if he will be given the gloves.
Curiously, Nikita Contini has not made the trip due to a muscular problem either, so Simone Scuffet would be next in line to stand between the posts.
Meret is the latest Napoli player to come down with flu, as Scott McTominay was ruled out of last week’s win over Milan when suffering from these symptoms.
The Scotland international has recovered and is expected to start in midfield tonight.
