President Trump once again spent time at the golf course over the weekend.
The President of the United States was in Scotland this weekend, working on a deal with the European Union. President Trump agreed to a deal with the European Union regarding tariffs. But while President Trump was getting some business done, he was also hitting up the golf course.
President Trump, who owns Trump Turnberry in Scotland, played a couple of rounds of golf at the course this weekend. He played 18 holes on Saturday and returned to the course on Sunday.
Since taking office in January, President Trump has played dozens of rounds of golf.
How does his wife, Melania Trump, feel about it?
Melania Trump has made it clear that she's OK with her husband playing a lot of golf. However, she also made it clear that she will not be joining her husband on the golf course.
"No, I don't play golf," she told a crowd at a recent visit.
While President Trump plays a lot of golf, his game is fairly impressive. A golf coach rated his swing, saying it was impressive.
“Well, let’s firstly remember Donald Trump is 78 years old (now 79)," the coach said.
"He rotates fantastically well through impact and generates great power in transition. It might look unusual on the eye because his backswing is flatter than the professionals you will see on TV, but he re-routes back onto plane in the downswing and rotates well with a stable release. Considering his age, it’s a very good golf swing.”
President Trump has made it clear that he's going to continue to play, no matter how big of a job he has.
The President of the United States loves golf – perhaps more than anything – and that much is clear.
