Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe says he stands “in full solidarity with Ceuta” after choosing to obscure a message of support for the people who live in the Spanish enclave.
Mbappe has explained why he made the decision to roll up his pre-game T-shirt before Real Madrid’s match at Elche on Tuesday, to partially cover up the message.

The T-shirts declared: “Todos somos Caballas” – which translates as “We are all Caballas”, with Cabellas being a nickname for the people of Ceuta.
Team-mates Vinicius Jr and Ibrahima Konate also chose to roll up their shirts.
