Franco Mastantuono is ‘honoured’ to have made history with Fiorentina, becoming the youngest player to score a hat-trick in a competitive match with the Tuscans.

The Real Madrid loanee netted three goals in Fiorentina’s 4-2 away win at Venezia on Friday night.

It not only marked Fiorentina’s first win this season and a victory on Paolo Vanoli’s ‘second’ debut as the Tuscans’ coach, but also made Mastantuono, 19, the youngest player to score a hat-trick in a Viola shirt.
