Olympique Lyonnais are reportedly interested in signing Juventus player Jonathan David (26) during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to information from Tuttosport.

Having arrived in Italy on a free transfer from Lille OSC last summer, the Canadian forward is having a mixed season. Having played 38 times (23 starts) since the start of the 2025-26 campaign, David has only scored seven goals and provided five assists during that period. An output deemed too low by his management, who may already be willing to part ways with their striker.

And although he remains under contract with the Vecchia Signora until 2030, a cheque for €25 to €30 million could convince Juve’s management to let him go. Especially considering his estimated salary of €11 million per year.

Paulo Fonseca, who has already worked with David, for his part, greatly admires his profile. An operation that nevertheless promises to be complicated for OL, which are facing significant financial problems and are already preparing for the departure of Endrick (19), whose loan from Real Madrid expires at the end of the season.
