Could another French standout be next? According to TBR Football, Bayern Munich are keen to tie Michael Olise down to a new contract before the season ends, hoping to block interest from other clubs.

The Bundesliga side are reportedly enamored with the winger and ready to offer a “huge pay rise” to fend off Premier League suitors. Liverpool have monitored Olise for a while, and Chelsea, PSG, and Barcelona are also admirers—but none of those clubs are expected to make a move next summer.

Liverpool are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise as a possible long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, according to CaughtOffside.

The report suggests Bayern would demand around £87 million, though some sources indicate there could be a clause—or at least a verbal understanding—that allows Premier League clubs to negotiate a slightly lower fee.

Olise is believed to be open to a return to England, and if he does, he’s expected to attract plenty of interest.

“Olise is top of Liverpool’s list,” one source told CaughtOffside. “He’s seen by many at Liverpool as a natural Salah heir.”
