Jon Rahm remains top of the LIV Golf individual standings after another top 10 finish at LIV Golf Virginia.
Rahm finished T8 at Trump National Washington, where Lucas Herbert went wire-to-wire to claim his first title.

But many golf fans have instead decided to focus on the broadcast of the event, which failed to mention Rahm’s albatross at the par-five 17th on Sunday.
It does, of course, arrive at a time when LIV Golf is already under intense scrutiny amid worries over its future due to a lack of funding.
LIV Golf criticised for missing Jon Rahm albatross
Criticising LIV Golf after the Rahm incident, one fan commented on X: “I’m a LIV defender most of the time but yes this is a bad look.”
Another concurred: “LIV’s best player, Jon Rahm, made an albatross today, the rarest accomplishment in golf, and the broadcast is so bad that they didn’t even get it on video… so we will likely never see it. Shameful and embarrassing.”

Others wrote: “Absolute shambles, get this man back on the PGA Tour,” and “Wasn’t the point of Shotgun Starts to get all the action?”
The criticism didn’t end there, with another fan commenting: “I thought you could watch every shot from every player on that tour? Wasn’t that a selling point?”
And another agreed: “LIV gave all their money to the players and forgot to pay their camera crew. Rahm made an albatross, and LIV didn’t even have any footage of it. It took a fan recording it to try to even get a glimpse. LIV is clearly dying.”
Summarising the negativity surrounding the incident, another fan sarcastically noted: “Incredible work by the content app to lose the content.”

Jon Rahm deserves praise after first professional albatross
Legion XIII, who Rahm captains on LIV Golf, has indeed since shared the footage of his first professional albatross.

He impressively holed out from 217 yards with his second shot on the 17th, recording the fifth albatross in the history of the tour, three of which have now come this season.
But it wasn’t enough for the Spanish superstar to challenge for the title, marking the first time this season that he has not finished inside the top five.
And while LIV Golf has come under fire, the player himself deserves huge credit, not only for his shot but for what he did afterwards.
While waiting for his group to finish, Rahm was quick to deliver and sign the ball for a young fan, which was hugely appreciated by the fans at LIV Golf Virginia.
