Former Stade Brestois attacking midfielder Franck Honorat (28) is thriving at Borussia Mönchengladbach and he is now attracting interest from clubs across Europe, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Honorat has four goals and nine assists in 16 appearances with Mönchengladbach this season and in his last two appearances, has been elected man-of-the-match. He has become an influential element of this Mönchengladbach side, however, he could yet be on the move this summer, Foot Mercato understands.
In Germany, he has caught the eye of Freiburg, who are currently fourth in the Bundesliga and well placed to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League. He is also of interest to Leeds United, who having secured their promotion back to the Premier League, are expected to invest significantly in their playing squad over the summer.
However, Leeds may also have to contend with interest from OGC Nice. There is expected to be changes in Le Gym’s front line over the summer with Evann Guessand notably linked with a departure.
