Nikola Krstovic is among the players that Roma could sign to further strengthen their squad in view of next season.

After finalising the departures of Tammy Abraham to Besiktas and Eldor Shomurodov, who’s close to joining Basaksehir, the Giallorossi will turn their attention to a striker who can play alongside or in place of Artem Dovbyk.

The idea that has been teasing for some time is Nikola Krstovic, the Montenegrin striker from Lecce who scored double figures in the last Serie A season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the striker has given strong signals of openness to the transfer to the Italian capital after having refused the advances of Leeds.

At the moment, the biggest obstacle remains Lecce’s €30 million price-tag. However, the player’s will could be decisive in helping push the transfer through.
