Steph Curry and LeBron James have faced each other in 56 regular-season, playoff and play-in NBA games.
And now they have a chance to meet on the golf course.
That’s because the Los Angeles Lakers star finally has taken up the sport, much to Curry’s delight.
James posted four videos of himself working on his golf swing on his Instagram account, noting that this is Day 2 of his journey.
“Welcome. We’ve been waiting for you,” Curry wrote in a comment, which has thousands of Likes.
Curry has been playing golf since a young age and is very accomplished playing the sport. He won the American Century Championship celebrity tournament in South Lake Tahoe two years ago. He will return next week to try to reclaim his crown after skipping last year’s event to play in the Paris Olympics.
James, Curry’s rival and good friend, is a world-class athlete, so it might not take him long to master golf.
Based on how competitive Curry and James are, it might not be long before they are playing each other on the golf course.
And with both players winding down their respective Hall of Fame NBA careers, Curry and James could carry the rivalry over to the tee box.
