LONDON — The Laver Cup is back in London for the first time since 2022 as Team Europe and Team World contest the ninth edition of tennis’ most exciting team event.
Team Europe boast a 5-3 overall lead but will be out for revenge at the 02 this weekend having suffered a crushing 15-9 defeat in San Francisco last time out.
Will it be Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev leading the comeback for Team Europe or will Team World, led by the likes of Taylor Fritz and Alex De Minaur, be making it back-to-back titles? We’ll soon be finding out!

Laver Cup 2026 scoring format
Each day, three singles matches and one doubles match are played to the best of three sets, with the last match played as a 10-point tie-break.
A team wins by reaching 13 points. Friday’s wins are worth one point, Saturday’s two points and Sunday’s three points — which ensures that no team can become champion before the last day.
If the competition is tied after 12 matches, a final overtime doubles match is played.
All players play at least one singles match between Friday and Saturday, and at least four of them participate in doubles.
If only one match is required to win on Sunday, an exhibition match will be played following the trophy ceremony.
