Marcel Reed stayed alive in the Heisman race thanks to his efforts in Texas A&M come-from-behind win over South Carolina.
Reed finished with a season high 439 passing yards and three touchdowns.
The A&M quarterback now has four straight games with multiple touchdown passes. He’s the led the Aggies to three wins over ranked opponents.
A fourth Top 25 triumph over the Texas Longhorns on November 28, plus a win in the SEC Championship Game, would Reed a resume that few can match.
If Reed plays well in both of those games, he can at least challenge the cases that Mendoza and Sayin can make for the Heisman.
