Jake Paul faces his toughest test in terms of an active boxer with a decorated record when he takes on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The fight headlines a night of action on DAZN pay-per-view this Saturday.

Paul vs. Chavez will go down from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The card also features former UFC and boxing world champion Holly Holm returning to the ring.

While Chavez presents a challenge, latest betting odds remain heavy in favor of Paul to secure the win. According to Josh Barton of The Odds PR, Paul is a -600 favorite to earn the victory.

Opening odds for the fight back in April had Paul at just -300 to defeat Chavez, who was +240. That quickly turned into Paul going up to a -1,000 favorite and Chavez a +600 underdog.

Over the past several weeks, the numbers have come down slightly. The over/under for the fight is set at 8.5 rounds, with Barton reporting over 80 percent of money coming in being on the over.

Paul is coming in off a decision win over former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. That victory moved his overall record to 11-1, including five straight since a loss in 2023 to Tommy Fury.

The 39-year-old Chavez topped former UFC fighter Uriah Hall in his return to action for the first time in nearly three years last July. He is 54-6-1 overall having held the WBC Continental America super middleweight title and WBC middleweight championship.
