The Saudi league title went to CR7’s Al-Nassr, who lost four times but won more (28 to 25) and drew less often (twice to nine times).

Al-Hilal ended up being eliminated on penalties in the very first knockout round of the AFC Champions League and celebrated just one title: the Saudi King’s Cup.
