Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson’s ability to run with the football has made him stand out since he entered the league and he now stands alone as the most accomplished rushing quarterback of all time.

Jackson’s final carry in Wenesday’s 31-2 rout of the Texans moved him past Michael Vick for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in NFL history. Jackson accomplished the feat in his 102nd game — Vick played in 143 — and he will have plenty of time to add to his 6,110 yards in the years to come.

“It feels unreal, to be honest with you,” Jackson said, via a transcript from the team. “I just give God all the glory. I’m grateful, man, because that’s a record that’s been held for a long time with Michael Vick, one of my favorite players. That’s just dope.”

Jackson set another mark during the win as well. He was clocked at 21.25 mph on his 48-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and that’s the fastest recorded time of his career. Jackson initially quipped that he was “jogging” and the said it was “crazy” that he posted that kind of speed on his way to the end zone.

Jackson and the Ravens can clinch the AFC North with a win over the Browns in Week 18 and they will then move on to trying to snag the one big accomplishment missing from the two-time MVP’s resume. That’s a Super Bowl title and winning it would further cement Jackson as one of the best that the league has ever seen.
