The NASCAR O’Reilly Series competed at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and it was a thrilling event. Justin Allgaier won both stages and looked to be in control after entering victory lane at Phoenix Raceway last weekend; however, the driver of the No. 7 car didn’t go back-to-back. Instead, it was a different JR Motorsports driver.
Kyle Larson and the No. 88 team for JR Motorsports won The LiUNA! at Las Vegas, earning their first victory of the 2026 O’Reilly Series season. Larson was able to jump to the front with a good pit stop and track position, putting him in front of the pack. The Hendrick Motorsports driver didn’t have much competition at the end.
Despite not being a top-5 driver for most of the day, Larson found a way to flex his muscles and enter victory lane when it mattered the most. The No. 88 car didn’t have the same speed as Allgaier, but it paid off at the end. Now, Larson will hope to carry this momentum moving forward.
