Kyle Larson had early trouble in Sunday’s NASCAR Darlington race.
Larson was racing Joey Logano for 18th position on lap 4 of the 293 scheduled of the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway.
Larson was on the low side of Logano exiting turn 2 and caught a slippery section of the track. Larson’s No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, in a special paint scheme honoring Terry Labonte, spun into the inside wall.
Larson suffered heavy front end damage. He was towed back to the garage and his team was able to get him back on the racetrack. Larson is 160 laps down, however.
Larson will be scored 38th.
